SAHMism

Okay so I'm having this "mid mom crisis" so to speak. It's about being dependent on one person for you welfare. What do I mean? Since I have no income aside from the money my hubby gives me, I'm dependent on him to bring home the bacon, the groceries, pay the bill, pay me, so and on. With that being said, I'm also at his whim if and when he decides he wants to change his career and relocate to a remote island off the Arctic ocean. Not that I HAVE to pack up and drag the kids along. I could always get a job again, find a new place to live, and decide the Arctic is no place for me. However if I want to keep the family in tack and not have unnecessary financial issues then we move to the Arctic as a family.

I suppose my issue is, does it always have to be about what my husband thinks is best, in the name of bettering the family? He thinks we should move to the Arctic because it's a great opportunity for him and basically the rest of us are along for the ride. Then if I don't like the decision I'm looked at as ungrateful because I should be so lucky to have a DRIVEN provider of a husband who would relocate to the Arctic for the betterment of his family.
